Timothy Powers brings over two decades of experience in healthcare compliance, legal oversight, and organizational integrity to his role as Chief Compliance Officer at Charter Oak Health Center. In this role, Tim is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s compliance program to ensure adherence to a wide range of healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, HRSA, FTCA, DPH, and Joint Commission requirements.
With a strong foundation in legal studies and a proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments, Tim plays a vital role in guiding the organization through audits, risk assessments, policy development, and staff education. He collaborates closely with leadership and clinical teams to ensure Charter Oak operates with the highest level of ethical and legal integrity, supporting the center’s mission to deliver high-quality, accessible care to all.
Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His leadership is defined by a proactive, solution-oriented approach and a deep commitment to safeguarding both the patients and the organization.
